Phosphorescent fragments
These bits of transparent resin look like natural little broken stones and can bring a striking and magnificent effect in an aquarium, vase...
Photoluminescent products absorb energy from natural light, artificial lighting or UV lamps. After just a few minutes of exposure, they are fully charged.
This energy is then gradually released in the form of phosphorescent light. The intensity is expressed in microcandelas per square metre (mcd/m²), whilst the operating time corresponds to the afterglow, measured until a residual luminance of 0.32 mcd/m² is reached.
Colour directly affects performance:
Green: maximum light output and visibility that can last all night.
Turquoise: very good brightness with extended battery life.
Blue: more moderate light output, generally visible for several hours.
To work effectively, these materials must be viewed in a dark environment. Their effect becomes much less noticeable in town, near permanent lighting or when the full moon is brightly illuminating the landscape.
Storage conditions
The performance of the products is not affected by UV light, humidity or temperature fluctuations. They can therefore be stored without any special precautions.
Durability
Photoluminescent fragments are made of glass, which ensures they are highly resistant to outdoor weather conditions. Photoluminescent stones are made of plastic and may take on a slight yellowish tinge over the years.
Waterproof, non-toxic, they are ideal for decorating the inside of aquariums or decorative fountains.

The fragments are between 0.5 and 12mm in size
Yield and consumption: approx. 1 kg / m²
During day their aspect is colourless and becomes luminous and coloured in complete darkness.
