The permanent or occasional signage of a danger must be ensured by visual safety signs, with yellow and black hatches for optimal visibility to the human eye.

The yellow and black hazard warning tape is an equipment used for day and night signaling (for vehicle headlights) thanks to its retroreflective yellow part. It is not a photoluminescent equipment.

These tapes have a strong adhesive protected by a peel off tab.
They adhere strongly to all clean and smooth surfaces
Reflective power: the yellow part reflects the light from the car headlights on more than 250m

Employer's obligations: warn of obstacles and dangers on the workers' lanes

Whenever necessary to ensure workers safety, both indoors and outdoors, the traffic lanes for vehicles and machinery should be clearly identified by continuous strips with a colour that is easily visible (black and yellow) due to the colour of the ground.

According to the European Directive 92/58/EEC, these yellow and black safety signals must be installed to indicate an hazard or obstacle (edge, corners, steps, machines, etc.) and must be visible in all circumstances.
The yellow and black signal tape must be of sufficient size, and installed at an appropriate height relative to the observation point, as close as possible to the danger zones.
