Our photoluminescent fire extinguisher sign is visible under all circumstances as required by workplace safety regulations (Directive 92/58/EEC). 

The use of phosphorescent colours is recommended by the standard.

This photoluminescent panel identifies the location of fire extinguishers in the dark in case of a failure of the main electrical installation.

How to position the photoluminescent fire extinguishing panels?

The standards indicate that a sufficient number of signs should be provided depending on the distances and the area to be covered, at an appropriate height. 

It is recommended to install the panel above the mobile fire extinguisher, at a height of 1.8 to 3m, to prevent the signal from being hidden by people

A sign detailing the use of the fire extinguisher may be placed lower at intermediate height.

Our photoluminescent fire extinguisher panel is designed with next-generation photoluminescent pigments, which produce high levels of phosphorescence and good performance, even after short/low exposures to light (from 25 lux)

The material is classified as M2 in accordance with standard NF P 92-507, indicating a fire reaction level corresponding to a product that is flame-retardant without being non-combustible.
Tests show ignition times of approximately 70 seconds on the underside and over 110 seconds on the upper side, indicating satisfactory resistance to the initiation of combustion.
Flame spread remains limited and no persistent flames or formation of flaming droplets were observed.
The overall behaviour demonstrates moderate combustibility with a reduced contribution to fire development.
