Resoltech 1010 Multipurpose Resin Water Epoxy Resin

Use:

Resolcoat 1010 Epoxy Resin is a professional product that can be put to use in many areas, such as decoration, building-construction or shipbuilding, for example.

1010 Epoxy Resin is easy to use, compatible with almost every substrates (terracotta, metal, concrete, and wood of course)

It is also often used as the first layer for fixing and blocking of porous backgrounds, such as wood, to avoid bubbles, before applying a thick glaze using an epoxy resin or epoxy resin casting in great thickness.

Kits:

1 kg = 500g Resin 1010 + 500g Hardener 1014
2 kg = 1000g Resin 1010 + 1000g Hardener 1014

Offers great versatility:

Epoxy Resin Resolcoat is used as a finishes topcoat, or as an impregnating and preparation primer for wood or concrete, or even as a binder/self-leveling mortar (with a load of sand for example)

Depending on the use, it will be thinned to 50 to 200% with water

Qualities and advantages of the Epoxy Resin 1010:

- Naturally microporous: it allows the substrates to breathe
- Highly translucent and transparent
- Solvent free, pleasant to work with and safe to use
- Very high resistance to abrasion, chemicals and water
- The cleaning of tools is simply done with water

Demonstration of the 3-layer application on a raw wooden board, sanded, dry and dusted:

Mixing and application:

With a brush, spatula or squeegee,
at 18 to 25 °C preferably, free from humidity

Recommended mixture:

In volume:
1 part of Epoxy resin 1010
1 part of Epoxy hardener 1014
0 to 2 parts of water
Pot life after mixture: 1h

Through drying of the resin: 24/48h
Overcoatable after 5h
Beyond 24 hours, do a light sanding before covering.
