Proper signage informing people how to open a door through photoluminescent guidance is provided thanks to our special photoluminescent panels that enable to locate in the dark the door handles and their opening direction.

How to identify door handle location? What does NF X 08 050 2 mean?
Its possible to mark the location of the exit door opening system in two ways:
with a photoluminescent surface of at least 100cm2, on the door at the back of the handle.
or
by covering the door handles or panic bars with photoluminescent products (at least 25mm along their entire length)
(For example, a photoluminescent paint, a PVC sheet or a photoluminescent adhesive may be used.) The easiest way is making use of our photoluminescent door opening panels
which feature a clearly understandable pictogram.

Other opening devices:
For panic bars and push bars, we recommend the use of our vinyl photoluminescent self-adhesive tape. We also manufacture panels specially designed for "push button" opening systems

How long does it take to charge this photoluminescent door opening panel?
It takes only 15 minutes with a 25 lux illumination to obtain a very effective phosphorescence for 60 minutes

How to maintain this photoluminescent equipment?
Maintenance-free, all that is required is simple cleaning and dusting. The product will remain effective for several decades.

What type of lighting should be used?
Normally, any lighting is suitable; but some lighting are much more effective than others. We recommend neon lights and lighting with white and blue spectrum.

The material is classified as M2 in accordance with standard NF P 92-507, indicating a fire reaction level corresponding to a product that is flame-retardant without being non-combustible.
Tests show ignition times of approximately 70 seconds on the underside and over 110 seconds on the upper side, indicating satisfactory resistance to the initiation of combustion.
Flame spread remains limited and no persistent flames or formation of flaming droplets were observed.
The overall behaviour demonstrates moderate combustibility with a reduced contribution to fire development.
