The photoluminescent evacuation plan and the safety instructions provide information for guidance and evacuation in all circumstances, even in total darkness.

Arco Iris cuts out and prints your phosphorescent evacuation plans or your photoluminescent instructions on photoluminescent PVC supports.

Material and printing:

We carry out the four-color printing of the evacuation plans on photoluminescent PVC panels 1.3mm thick. PVC is an economical, standard, lightweight, and high-performance material, usually used for all indoor signage.

Classes and marking

We offer class C and D photoluminescent panels, in accordance with the ISO 7010 standard governing evacuation, emergency and firefighting symbols and pictograms, display panels, and the ISO 17398 international luminance standards.

Each fire guidance plan has a small Class marking printed at the bottom of the panel: Example C: 218 / 30 - 2100-K-W

218: Measurement* after 10min

30: measurement* after 60 min

2100: extinction in minutes

K: green (color emitted in darkness)

W: White (daytime visible color)

Photoluminescent evacuation plans and instructions use the phosphorescent yellowish white/greenish background color instead of white.

Excitation lighting:

Our safety signs and photoluminescent safety plans can fully recharge in 15 minutes with lighting from 25 lux, which corresponds to a low light environment

We recommend lighting with cold lights (3000k to 6500k bulbs)

Lifetime

Phosphorescence does not decrease in performance over time or with use. To maintain a good level of efficiency, simple cleaning and dusting is recommended.
