Full product description

The HDPB-SPR hydrophobic spray is part of a range of technical finishes designed to provide long-lasting protection for surfaces against moisture and external damage. Its advanced formulation is based on silicone-based hydrophobic agents, creating an effective barrier against water whilst preserving the original appearance of the surfaces.

This treatment is particularly suitable for environments subject to high humidity, such as bathrooms, kitchens, showers and outdoor areas exposed to the elements. It is also an effective solution for minimising urban damage, particularly that caused by urine splashes, by making cleaning easier and preventing liquids from being absorbed.

HYDROPHOIC SPRAY

Invisible and durable protection

Once applied, the hydrofobic spray leaves a colourless, transparent and slightly satin finish. On most surfaces, it remains completely invisible, thus preserving the original appearance. However, on certain porous surfaces, a slight wet look may appear, which is why it is important to carry out a test first.

This technology significantly slows down the growth of mould, reduces water ingress and prevents premature ageing of materials. The treatment acts on the surface without forming a thick film, thereby ensuring that the substrates remain breathable.

Extensive multi-device compatibility

The HDPB-SPR stands out for its exceptional versatility. It can be applied directly to a wide variety of materials, making it a universal solution for many sectors:

  • Glass and ceramics

  • Concrete and mineral surfaces

  • Natural and synthetic fabrics

  • Leather and painted surfaces

  • Wood and building materials

  • Metals and plastics (tests recommended depending on the material)

This high adhesion makes it suitable for use in construction, industrial maintenance and domestic applications alike.

Quick and easy to use

The product is ready to use, with no mixing or complicated preparation required. It can be applied using a variety of methods depending on the substrate and the surface to be treated:

  • Spraying (aerosol or airbrush)

  • Application with a pad or brush

For best results, the surface must be clean, dry and free from dust and grease. Ideal conditions are between 15 and 25°C in a dry environment. Do not apply the product to hot surfaces or in direct sunlight.

Apply 1 to 3 coats; two coats are recommended for enhanced performance. A second coat can be applied after approximately two hours.
