Versions

The FLEX PRECISION abrasive sponges are designed for manual sanding of delicate areas and irregular contours, while remaining equally effective on larger surfaces.

They provide gradual and controlled abrasion, ideal for promoting paint adhesion while removing minor surface imperfections.

Their behaviour is midway between that of a conventional abrasive sponge (intended to create micro-scratches for adhesion) and that of a traditional abrasive sheet used for a more aggressive cut.

Packaging: Sold individually or in set of 5

Characteristics

  • Colour: Grey

  • Dimensions: (according to standard foam-sponge format – values not specified by manufacturer)

  • Abrasive type: Single-sided foam

  • Abrasive grain: Silicon carbide

  • Use: Compatible with dry or wet sanding

Advantages of single-sided abrasive sponges

Thanks to their pressure-equalising foam structure, the PRECISION FLEX sponges deliver a consistent, high-quality finish with a more gradual action than traditional hard abrasives.

The surface remains flexible yet perfectly flat, ensuring uniform sanding intensity across the entire working area.

Five available grit levels

Medium: P120 – P180

Fine: P320 – P400

Super Fine: P500 – P600

Ultra Fine: P800 – P1000

MicroFine: P1200 – P1500

Dry or wet use

Designed for homogeneous finishing results, these sponges can be used either on wet or dry surfaces.

They are low-clogging and maintain their abrasive efficiency over time, allowing multiple reuses.

Uniform sanding and balanced pressure

Thanks to their extreme flexibility, they easily adapt to narrow zones, corners, curved or angular surfaces, while reducing the risk of breaking through paint layers on edges.

Manual sanding provides greater sensitivity, essential when working on complex shapes and curved parts.
