ARCO Motorcycle Pinstripe - 3M™ Grade, series 610

Description:

ARCO Rim Pinstripes are self adhesive retroreflective coloured stripes. One of their characteristics is to return the light emitted in all directions:
an observer, whether placed at the source of the light (vehicle with its headlights on) or as a bystander, will see the stripes as a coloured surface emitting a strong light.

Fields of application:

ARCO Stripes can be used on automotive or motorcycle rims, and even on bicycle wheels.
ARCO reflective rim stripes comply with the requirements of signage and road safety standards.

Quality and performance guarantee for ARCO stripes:

They are pressure-sensitive adhesive films, with one side made of retroreflective PVC, and a protective paper on the back.
The adhesive has a high quality grip, and thus resist to any disbonding.

The high quality of the film guarantees a better reflection of the light (up to 250-350 meters against 100 meters for medium grades),
and especially an excellent performance over time (for glue and colours), from 5 to 7 years, against 1 to 2 years for the standard motorcycle stripes.

Application:

A well prepared substrate enables easy application and a strong and durable adhesion of the self adhesive rim stripe.

3M 610 Stripes should be applied at room temperature (>15 °C) on a clean, dry, dust- and grease-free surface (degreasing with alcohol is a necessary stage).
Moderate pressure is used during installation, without creating tension on the stripes.

Retroreflection coefficients of ARCO motorcycle rim stripes:

this is an intensity index (expressed in cd/lux/m²) measured using a standard, which varies according to the angle of observation.

Entry angles: at 5° to 40°
610 White: 70 10
611 Yellow: 50 7

The colour that reflects a high luminance is therefore white
Red, Blue colours have lower indexes (no measurements available)
