MSDS Fluorescent
Versions

The fluorescent solvent-based paints are professional products for painters and coach builders.

ASPECT: Fluo colours are extremely vivid and rich and will directly get people's attention. They are semi-transparent and are applied over a paint or primer of white colour.

DESTINATION: Car, motorbike, primed surfaces (plastic, medium, metals)

COMPOSITION: 1 component solvent-based acrylic. To be used with a spraygun or airbrush only.

RESISTANCE: They are 1K basecoats (2-coats paints) to be necessarily topcoated, with any kind of automotive clear coat. We of course strongly recommend the use of our UV screen varnish, which will protect the fluorescent paint from UV lights.

Considering their low resistance to UV and the unavoidable dulling/fading of colours unprotected from UV, we recommend 3 things: don't expose unnecessarily to sun a painted room during a long period of time. Apply a maximum of anti UV clear coat. And especially apply a maximum of fluorescent coats to obtain a good thickness. Our anti UV clear coat can be found on our website Stardustcolors.com dedicated to automotive paints.
