2-in-1 Paint

phosphorescent effect (at night) + fluorescent effect (during the day)

The fluorescent-phosphorescent paint for floors has first of all high mechanical strength (abrasion, trampling, rolling) for signalling and marking.

Its particularly appropriate for floors, including concrete floor.
Its not important to check its compatibility with the ground, as the fluorescent-phosphorescent paint must be applied over a white primer; it is therefore this white primer which must be adapted to the concrete floor
(See our white epoxy primer for concrete P520)

The fluorescent phosphorescent paint is quite extraordinary: its the first paint in the world that proposes 2 simultaneous different photoluminescent effects as it is:
- Fluorescent: neon yellow during the day, which makes it particularly visible.
- Phosphorescent: visible in the dark, as it recharges itself with exposure to light throughout the day. Green colour.

Application method:
Must be over a white background (professional quality primer or paint)

The system can be applied using an epoxy roller, a brush or an air spray gun. Two coats are recommended to achieve the thickness required for optimal photoluminescence.

Consumption:

  • 190 to 235 g/m² per coat
  • Two coats recommended
  • Final thickness: approximately 375 to 420 microns

Application:

The container holding component A must be used as the mixing vessel into which component B is added.

Once this has been done, shake vigorously using a mechanical or manual method until the mixture is completely homogenised (as a guide, one minute using a mechanical device such as a shaker, or two minutes by hand).

Then pour the mixture of A and B into a pot and add C. Stir until the pigments are fully incorporated before use, or use a mixer.

Stir the mixture regularly to prevent settling.

Then apply to the surface, bearing in mind that the mixture has a limited pot life (see the pot life data).

Drying:

Drying at 20°C and 60% RH: - Dust-free: 6 hours

- Touch-dry: 12 to 16 hours

- Recoatable: 24 hours

Fully hardened: 8 to 10 days.

Use:

The product is intended for interior spaces (Industry, warehouses...). The fluorescent yellow effect is not UV-resistant. The phosphorescent effect is very resistant and has a longer lifetime of 50 years and more
