WPU Stardust Pro Airbrush Paints - 20 Chameleon Colors

Chameleon airbrush paint is a special pearlescent paint family that develops a spectrum of colors, from 2 colors to sometimes 6 colors, for the same paint reference. The color change is variable depending on the viewing angle of the observer.

Chameleon airbrush colors typically show two main colors on top, and one to two secondary colors, when viewed from the side.

These are special effect colors that are relatively easy to apply and achieve.

The appearance of these paints in the liquid state can be colored and sometimes transparent depending on the references.

The pigmentation is very fine, and the paints create an elegant iridescent effect.

The aspect of the applied and dry paints is satin

Color-changing paints are not at all sensitive to the sun's UV rays, and are suitable for prolonged outdoor exposure

How to apply chameleon airbrush paints :

• It is particularly important to shake the bottle well before use, even after the mixing ball has come off.

• The paint should be applied on a black colored background. It is possible to use a primer or paint. It can be noted that the chameleon colors can exceptionally be applied to other colors than black, for example red, blue, yellow etc... this produces different colors and surprising combinations

• It is advisable to use an airbrush with a 0.3mm or larger nozzle.

• It is very important to practice very thin layers, and not to overload the layers. The number of layers is not important. You simply have to repeat the thin layers until the black background disappears.

• Varnishing optional but recommended. Gloss or satin clearcoats can be used. Gloss clearcoats reveal and amplify color changes.

The cleaning and conservation of airbrush paints with a chameleon effect

We recommend the use of soapy water or our water-based paint thinner

The paints can be kept for 12 months, when their cap is perfectly sealed. It is possible to use our thinner to prevent them from drying in the pot.
