Airbrush clearcoat – 6 matt, satin and gloss clearcoats

Clearcoats are transparent topcoats, whose two main purposes are protection and visual appearance.

Clearcoats can create different levels of shine. The aspects of the clearcoats are always perfectly transparent after complete drying.

All clearcoats in the Stardust Pro range are acrylic water-based clearcoats. They are non-harmful and odorless.

They are ready to use products, fine enough to be used with the different types of airbrush and nozzles, with recommended sizes starting from 0.3 mm.

For optimal application, we recommend application between 15 and 25°C, and 2 spray coats, 10 or 15 minutes apart.

Gloss clearcoats should be applied in thick coats, while matte clearcoats should be applied in medium coats.

WPU159 Fine Gloss Clearcoat

This clearcoat is an acrylic formula, very fluid, which forms a beautiful shiny layer without forming excessive thickness, which makes it possible to preserve the fine details of the reliefs.

WPU160 Gloss Clearcoat

Clearcoat 160 is a classic varnish, white in appearance, which becomes transparent after drying. It forms a shiny and very resistant layer. It is an acrylic polyurethane clearcoat.

WPU161 Satin clearcoat

This clearcoat creates a shine of 40°. It has good general adhesion and excellent properties of resistance to all factors of abrasion, bad weather, exposure to products and solvents. It is an acrylic polyurethane formula.

WPU162 Matte Clearcoat

Formula similar to clearcoat 161, with a very low gloss of 4°.

WPU163 Ultra Matt clearcoat

This clearcoat is rare and unique, because it makes it possible to obtain the lowest level of gloss possible (around 0 or 1°) and does not create a bleaching effect. Its level of resistance is low.

WPU164 Velvet Clearcoat

This exceptional clearcoat is very matte, and forms a surface with an ultra soft touch. This is made possible by its content in microscopic beads, which allow this soft texture effect like velvet.
